        Kein Zweiter litt was Jesu litt.
        Kein Zweiter Kannt die Qual.
        Selbst in der letzten Stunde noch,
        "Vater Vergieb!" rief er.

        Und so wards vollbracht.
        Selbst das aller kleinste Wesen
        empfand den Schmerz und Unrecht getan.

Translation:

        No other suffered what Jesus suffered.
        No other knew his agony.
        In the very last hour,
        "Father, Forgive!" he cried.

        And so was it completed.
        Himself the smallest being,
        He perceived the pain and evil done.
